Having tented at many campgrounds, this campground has some nice qualities to it......

Really nice well maintained campground, kids loved the park and walking along the river.

Great sites, friendly staff, dog friendly. We had a great time until late the weather went bad. Not really much of a beach but glenifer lake is a short drive away and it's worth the extra drive because the sites are 10 times better then anything we have seen at glenifer lake.

The sites were great and the bathrooms were really clean. We found the staff very helpful but because there was a big day use area, the playground was swamped with people who weren't staying there and our two year old was getting pushed around to the point he didn't want to stay.

Thanks, but no thanks, I'll camp elsewhere.

If you love the sound of vehicles roaring past the campground all night this is the place for you. Highway 587 runs right by loop A and totally takes the peaceful aspect of camping and throws it right out the window.

Never had a bad time...staff is great and spots are kept in nice shape-wish the back area was open though....would be nice to have more available spaces

And don't forget anything because the store on site only really has chips and ice cream and it's a half hour drive to Olds - that was my mistake though.
